The current Kaveri Marriage Registration FAQ says a Hindu Marriage Certificate is applied for post-marriage; offline Hindu Marriage Aadhaar is not mandatory, online Hindu Marriage Aadhaar is mandatory, and an online Hindu Marriage application need not be submitted by visiting the Sub-Registrar office.

The current Kaveri Marriage Registration FAQ says three witnesses are required and each must be over 18; it lists one mandatory age-proof item (birth certificate, SSLC, school cumulative record or doctor certificate), one mandatory address-proof item (ration card, passport, driving licence, employee ID, bank passbook or voter ID), one identity-proof item (including PAN, passport, driving licence, bank passbook, ration card, Aadhaar, voter ID or employee ID), a mandatory wedding invitation plus one marriage-venue receipt/other relevant proof, and a photo limit of 2 MB in PNG format.

The FAQ also says a joint bride/bridegroom photo is required for the general marriage certificate and individual intended-bride/intended-bridegroom photos are used for the Intended Notice. Exact requiredness should be checked against the selected current form.

The current Kaveri Marriage Registration FAQ says payment is requested after officer approval and is made through the payment gateway; it lists net banking, debit/credit card and UPI while saying manual payment is not accepted, allows rescheduling only after 24 hours from booking, and permits editing only after the Sub-Registrar sends an application back for discrepancies.
